A Hampton, Virginia jury awarded a woman $3 million for injuries after a dump truck negligently turned in front of her while she was traveling 40 mph. Plaintiff suffered a brain injury which caused headaches, dizziness, memory loss, concentration problems, mood swings, difficulty finding the right words when speaking, balance problems, difficulty sleeping, fatigue, anxiety, and depression. She also suffered injuries to her back, neck, shoulder, and knees. Plaintiff required future medical care for her injuries and was unable to return to work.
