The man’s family alleges that a radiologist failed to properly notice significant stenosis of the cervical spine on a cat scan, which created a delay in properly treating the man’s spinal cord injury. While that claim against the radiologist continues, the man’s family has settled their claim against a rehab center for not properly treating bedsores he developed at the center. The rehab center has settled with the family for $500,000 for their role in problems contributing to the man’s death. The claim against the radiologist who misread the man’s cat scan is continuing.
